The McCanns will be uploading the BBC Crimewatch programme to their 'Find Madeleine' website - and promoting it on Twitter and Facebook
Statement from the Find Madeleine webmaster, posted on the official Madeleine McCann Facebook page:
We will need everyone's help... Once the Crimewatch show airs (14 October), we will be posting the video on here, our Web site and Twitter. We are asking that everyone please share with as many people as you can. We need to get this show seen as far and wide as possible. Thank you!
I am posting this here for information only.
It is clear that this will be a truly major event not only in the United Kingdom but in many other countries.
The BBC Crimewatch Special event, by all accounts planned in detail for months, is set to become a media and political event. The numbers watching this Crimewatch Special will be numbered in the tens of millions. It will also be an event that will be of major significance in terms of the policing of this country.
The team from the Metropolitan Police promoting this event is led by an experienced detective (Andy Redwood) who reports directly to an Assistant Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
The SY Review has already spent well over £5 million of taxpayers' money and by all accounts from press stories over the past few weeks, is set to spend millions more, with six senior Met Police detectives and support staff in Portugal, and thousands of mobile 'phone numbers on 31 countries to be checked and followed up.
The McCanns using the BBC's Crimewatch programme to promote their account of events is an echo from the period when Leicestershire Police directed the British public to 'phone the McCanns' 'investigation hotline' and directed them to the McCanns' fund-raising website.
Like no other time before this week, the co-operation of the McCanns with Britain's top police force and Britain's state broadcasting service, the BBC - orchestrated by Rebekah Brooks, former CEO of News International and the Prime Minister of this country, David Cameron - means that the abduction story as promoted on Crimewatch on 14 October will become further entrenched in most people's minds as absolute revealed truth.
Those who question it will, more than ever, be regarded as heretics.
No-one in the mainstream media can afford to question the underlying message which the BBC and the Metropolitan Police will be promoting on Monday.
Clarence Mitchell has succeeded in his stated aim of controlling what comes out in the media.
Whatever happens to Lord Leveson's proposed reforms of the press, already we do not have one.

Jerry Lawton at The Star has written that:
“The BBC will run 30-second clips of Kate and Gerry throughout the day and night to promote the Crimewatch re-examination of the Madeleine case".
They have already started.
Very few programmes have ever been as heavily trailed in the media as this one.
