Stuart Syvret released from Prison

Former Health Minister Stuart Syvret was today released from prison. I will be keeping the readers of this excellent forum informed over the coming weeks and months as to what is going on in Jersey concerning Stuart and his many legal battles. This all stems back to his concerns about the safety of children in the care of the States of Jersey.

I will do this under this new thread so it all stays under the one roof.

Never ever give up the fight for truth and justice.

Listening to the interviews reminds me of the interviews with Goncalo Amaral and his quest to ensure the public hear BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY.

I have great difficulty in believing that the Metropolitan Police review of Madeleines disappearance is anything other than a 'white wash' or an attempt to 'trash the evidence'. Perhaps one difference with the Maddie case is that the Portuguese Police files are in the public domain and many people have seen the findings of the cadaver dogs. Many expect the Metropolitan Police review to reach a verdict based on 'one side of the case' whilst ignoring or discrediting any alternative view. The Levenson enquiry perhaps gives a hint of things to come where the witness statements of the Express journalist are ignored to enable Levenson to accuse the newspapers of writing "piffle" when the journalist can actually link his reports to the published Police files.

Rico, I have been thinking. The best way to keep the story alive, is to keep asking questions. You may or may not know the answers to the following, but I would love any input from you, if you would be kind enough to oblige.

When did Haut de la Garrene first become a childrens home and what decade roughly was the first recorded incident of abuse?

Hi all,

Sorry for not posting back for a couple of days. Thanks Marian for the Wiki link. HdelaG has a very long history and has been through many changes over the years this is one of the reasons for making the search so difficult.

It's great having Stuart back and blogging. This should send out the message that there is no stopping in this fight for truth and justice.
