Radar online appear to have a vested interest in this twaddle.
Some people would sell their soul to the devil for want of a farthing.

A Polish woman who claimed she was Madeleine McCann in an internet post that became a global sensation has apologised to the missing girl's parents.
Julia Wendell, 21, made headlines around the world earlier this year after she uploaded her spurious theories on social media with the user name '@IamMadeleineMcCann'.
Her claims led to Wendell even appearing on a popular US TV show after being flown across the Atlantic by American media personality Dr Fia Johansson to discuss the far-fetched possibility.
But finally she was persuaded to take a DNA test and the results proved conclusively that she was no relation to Madeleine - before a MailOnline investigation earlier this revealed that Wendell had previously claimed to be three other missing girls.
Today she said in a statement: 'It wasn't my intention to bring sadness or any other negative emotion to anyone, especially to McCann's family.'
Wendell also issued a 17-page statement in which she apologised for the 'sadness' she caused the McCanns, of Rothley, Leicestershire - but then bizarrely denied that she had ever claimed she was Madeleine.
She wrote: 'I don't remember most of my memories, but I can remember some things and I never said that I am Madeleine McCann.
'I used this sentence to create a nickname for my old Instagram account, it was my mistake and I know it and I apologise for that because I should use words ''Am I Madeleine McCann?'' not ''I Am''.
'So, it was my fault….'My main purpose was always to find out who I am and what exactly happened in my very hurtful past.'
Despite her apology and evidence proving she was not Madeleine, she bizarrely continued to leave open the possibility she was the missing girl by suggesting the DNA results were tarnished.
In comments that will no doubt further pain Madeleine's parents Kate and Gerry, Wendell said: 'I still believe that it's a possibility that I could be Madeleine.'
Wendell and Dr Johansson have since bitterly fallen out.
Friends of Wendell's mother Dorota, who lives in Wroclaw, Poland, told MailOnline how she had been left 'mortified' by her daughter's claims and especially for any anxiety her daughter may have caused Kate and Gerry McCann.
Madeleine went missing from her family's holiday apartment in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz in May 2007 and has not been seen since, though there have been numerous 'reported' sightings over the years.
Last month it emerged that funding for Operation Grange of £300,000 was to be approved bringing the total cost since it started in 2011 to more than £13 million.
Wendell claimed she was never shown photos of herself in her early years or a birth certificate.
Her family refuted this – and provided evidence.
They said in a statement: 'For us as a family it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and step niece. We have memories, we have pictures.
'Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.
'We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia. Threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the internet... we've seen it all and we've tried to prevent it, explain it, we've asked her to stop.'
They added: 'We always tried to help her get back on her feet. Julia has been of age for several years. She moved out of the house.
'She refuses treatment, does not take medication regularly. She also did not take advantage of the possibility of treatment at a very good centre in Poland, which agreed to accept her.'
They explained that they had offered to provide Wendell with therapists, medicine and support over the years, adding: 'Julia once wanted to be a singer, a model. She always wanted to be popular. What's happening now is she [has] 1million followers.
'The internet won't forget, and it's obvious that Julia isn't Maddie. We are devastated at this current situation.'

Re: Here we go again, a girl’s going viral on TikTok because she thinks she’s Madeleine McCann
i had a bot of a laugh this morning, when i was reading up on it all, the julia says she also called out to the famous mister mwt, yes, that one, and he hang up on her half way through the call.
some had just a lucky escape of it all.
at least the julian had already told the world what a show they made from their approach in 2007, i must say i am not a avid reader of these pay and let it be news outlets, but it looks like the julian made already an open invitation, well it looks he can have his audience with the julia. going by his reputation, he would not have that much to loose.
the julia already showed promise by telling the world the dna must be falsed, and you will not believe it, but must come from the supposed polish bodyguard of the fia. a male example. well that was at least not what rolled out of the 23 and me results so far. but who cares. if you can say it, it must be true.
and besides that the cat fight is fully on, i do not think a cold hose would solve that soon.
yeah, yeah, an apology for the public, but we just keep going on, use a tiny little bit of reframing of the words, but she still can be madeleine is her message. am i madeleine mccann would not make a difference. for an experienced i want to be a missing child, and the tremendous research she did online, she must have figured out , that name had the most to offer.
and the connection is out there, and will keep on, so some lousy words are just easy sayings.
to follow this you need a strong dark roasted brew to go with it, and a lot of humor to keep your own sanity.
there already have been bad ones out there in this case, but this is utterly ridiculous.

A Polish woman who claimed to be Madeleine McCann has hit back at critics in a foul-mouthed Instagram post after a DNA test concluded she is not the missing tot.
Julia Wendall believed she was Madeleine, who disappeared while on a family holiday in Portugal in 2007, due to similarities in their appearance and other alleged evidence. In an attempt to prove her claims, the Polish national travelled to the US to undergo genetic testing, accompanied by self-styled “Persian Medium” Dr Fia Johansson.
However, the DNA sample she provided was found not to be a match with the missing British girl. Julia, also known as Julia Faustyna, has now promised to share new information on the events of the past few weeks and "say everything that she wants to say", the Daily Star reports.
Taking to Instagram, Julia wrote: “Finally I can say f**k off to everyone who can’t use (their) brain and can’t see reality with (their) own eyes. Tomorrow I will say everything (that) I want to say about what happened in the last weeks.
"And it will be my last statement about this f***ing s**t. It’s not worth it. I said truth all this time and tomorrow I will say true things too.”
After deleting her original account on the social media platform, @iammadeleinemccan, Julia has now started a new account called "Am I Julia Wendalt”. In recent posts, she claimed: "I have to say I never said I am Madeleine. I always said that I believe I could be Madeleine."
Since returning home, Julia has said that Dr Johansson was "trying to scare" her and is no longer certain that the "medium" ever truly wanted to help her at all.
"When I first met Fia for the first time I thought she wanted to help me,” she said. "Now I know she wants only new followers, new clients."
She also claims that Dr Johansson has refused to provide her with the full results of her DNA test. However, the self-professed psychic responded to Julia's criticisms, saying: "Julia was provided all the information about her DNA results to check for herself.
"Although Julia is disappointed about this revelation and the spotlight may fade away, the truth as represented in the results speaks to perhaps an unwelcome new reality. I tried to help her find her true identity as she wished, and through this journey I was hoping to provide her comfort with her new reality.
"Despite her recent postings, I wish her a well and happy life."

These trashy reports are so misleading.
The wording implies Faustyna had a DNA test which has been compared to the DNA of Madeleine or maybe Kate or maybe Gerry McCann, thus proof Faustyna is not Madeleine McCann - which we all knew anyway, or at least those with half a brain cell.
Wrong!
Faustyna had a DNA test from some 'ancestry' platform which determines precise detail of nationality and heritage - apparently.
It's all a load of old rollox..

She's getting all the attention she craves, why even give the silly girl air space, let alone international coverage.
Missing Madeleine McCann: Polish woman apologizes to missing British girl's parents
'My main purpose was always to find out who I am,' Julia Faustyna said in a lengthy statement
A Polish woman who used social media to help determine whether she might be missing Madeleine McCann, a British toddler who disappeared from a family vacation in Portugal in 2007, is now apologizing to the McCann family after getting DNA test results back.
The Polish woman, Julia Faustyna, who also goes by Julia Wandelt, had been claiming for weeks on Instagram and TikTok that she may be McCann, but DNA test results apparently showed that she is not British at all, according to her former spokesperson, social media star Dr. Fia Johansson.
"I don’t remember most of my memories but I can remember some things and I never said that I am Madeleine McCann," Faustyna, who made accounts called @iammadeleinemccann on Instagram and TikTok, said in a lengthy Facebook post on Wednesday. "I used this sentence to create a nick[name] for my old instagram account, it was my mistake and I know it and I apologize for that because I should use words, ‘Am I Madeleine McCann,’ not ‘I am.’"
She continued: "So it was my fault and It wasn’t my intention to bring sadness or another negative emotional [sic] to anyone, especially to McCann’s family. My main purpose was always to find out who I am and what exactly happened in my very hurtful past."
Faustyna detailed a troubled past and blurry memory in the Facebook post and said she started looking into the McCann case after seeing a photo of the missing girl online. She said she has a spot in her right eye and a beauty mark on her cheek that resemble McCann's. She also claimed that details of her childhood do not add up, leading her to believe that she was abducted as a toddler.
The Polish woman in her 20s amassed tens of thousands of followers – many of whom were critical of her claims – on her social media pages. She and Johansson, a psychic social media personality who offered to represent Faustyna as she made global headlines, even appeared on Dr. Phil together last month. Johansson broke the news about Faustyna's DNA results in an April 4 statement.
"The test results revealed that she is 100% of Polish heart, with negligible influence from Lithuania and Russia," Johansson said in a Tuesday statement posted to Instagram. "The DNA test results did not show any connection to British or even German roots."
MADELEINE MCCANN ABDUCTION SUSPECT CLAIMS TO HAVE ALIBI: REPORT
"She truly believed what she was saying, and with so many questions about her childhood it is easy to understand where she was coming from," Johansson continued.
Faustyna is now accepting donations through a GoGetFunding page.
Madeleine McCann's parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, were on vacation in Praia da Luz, Portugal, along with their three young children when Madeleine was taken from her bed on May 3
, 2007. The family was staying in a ground-floor apartment.
MADELEINE MCCANN DISAPPEARANCE: INTERNET CASTS DOUBT ON POLISH WOMAN CLAIMING SHE IS MISSING BRITISH GIRL
In 2020, German police named convicted child abuser and drug dealer Christian Brueckner, 45, as a suspect in the 3-year-old's disappearance, though Brueckner, a German citizen, continues to deny involvement in the case.
Brueckner is currently serving time in a German prison for drug crimes. He also has a pending seven-year sentence connected to the 2005 rape of a 72-year-old American woman in Praia da Luz.
McCann's family is accepting donations for the search for Madeleine through their website, findmadeleine.com.

Re: Here we go again, a girl’s going viral on TikTok because she thinks she’s Madeleine McCann
the julia has found another fan, that is almost pieing her pants in telling her world, the julia must be madeleine, and use pictures of the extended family mccann to prove her point, well it is only the sheena says of course.
she has found, or was send, a bunch of pictures supposed to be the female part of the mccann twins. probably not by the young lady herself, but some snooping ghouls of the armchair branche of lousy detectives.
the julia gets into the lives of the sheena, you know that insta thingy to talk about the julia.
the sheena is by her own words just one of those earn yourself a bit of money on the internet, so keeping the fairy tales up means moneymaking, just call your self a social media manager and owner. so she must be one of the so called influencers.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/sheena-hendrikse-0ab406b9/?trk=people-guest_people_search-card&originalSubdomain=ca
with a passion for the truth, after first making your own truths of course. and those filters are working well!
and we do not have to look at her, she says, but you know it is like urinating outside on a very windy day, you never know where it ends up in the days after. and we already know how the medias likes to ruminate this story.
meanwhile the fia found the time to post a form from the orange county sheriffs office, but really, it is just a no, i deduce from it; we do not get you the info you asked in an email about this case, because it are casenotes, she was asking because she thinks she was involved. it does not say about what it was all. only a casenumber. and it did not even got beyond the office technician. i can understand they are not very helpful if you use your fake names to ask for it. and the fia told us it is fake, otherwise how would we know.
so no, even the julia did not put out something on the facebook or instagram, she did pop up in some lives.
and with a little help of the sheena madeleine is back in the story, and all those who are still believing are back in too!
all who are not in favor of keeping a madeleine connection in this adventure are of course haters and bullies. at least it is different from the usually used trolls. and all and everything that is already there to show, the julia can not be anything as madeleine mccann is of course fake, manipulated or wrong.
and of course it is okay to use pictures of other people without consent, why not, it is on the internet so we do that without any shame or decency.
new round fresh chances to get it out as news in a form of other media. who would they ask to comment, jimbo, or grumpy grampy, and what media outlet will have it as a first? all for just a none story.

the sheena is by her own words just one of those earn yourself a bit of money on the internet, so keeping the fairy tales up means moneymaking, just call your self a social media manager and owner. so she must be one of the so called influencers.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/sheena-hendrikse-0ab406b9/?trk=people-guest_people_search-card&originalSubdomain=ca
with a passion for the truth, after first making your own truths of course. and those filters are working well!
and we do not have to look at her, she says, but you know it is like urinating outside on a very windy day, you never know where it ends up in the days after. and we already know how the medias likes to ruminate this story.
meanwhile the fia found the time to post a form from the orange county sheriffs office, but really, it is just a no, i deduce from it; we do not get you the info you asked in an email about this case, because it are casenotes, she was asking because she thinks she was involved. it does not say about what it was all. only a casenumber. and it did not even got beyond the office technician. i can understand they are not very helpful if you use your fake names to ask for it. and the fia told us it is fake, otherwise how would we know.
so no, even the julia did not put out something on the facebook or instagram, she did pop up in some lives.
and with a little help of the sheena madeleine is back in the story, and all those who are still believing are back in too!
all who are not in favor of keeping a madeleine connection in this adventure are of course haters and bullies. at least it is different from the usually used trolls. and all and everything that is already there to show, the julia can not be anything as madeleine mccann is of course fake, manipulated or wrong.
and of course it is okay to use pictures of other people without consent, why not, it is on the internet so we do that without any shame or decency.
new round fresh chances to get it out as news in a form of other media. who would they ask to comment, jimbo, or grumpy grampy, and what media outlet will have it as a first? all for just a none story.

Fake Madeleine McCann racks up £100s in donations despite DNA result rubbishing claims
Julia Wendell, the woman who falsely claimed she was Madeleine McCann, has raised hundreds in a fundraiser to help her "return to a somewhat normal life" in Poland after her sensational allegations were shut down
Julia believed she was Madeleine McCann until a DNA test proved otherwise
A woman who falsely claimed she was Madeleine McCann has raised hundreds of pounds to help her "return to a somewhat normal life" after a DNA test found she wasn't the missing British child.
Julia Wendell hopes to get "back on her feet" in her native Poland after she traveled to the US where she spent weeks publicly looking for answers to determine if she was Madeleine.
But her theory was rubbished after a genetics test showed she was 100% Eastern European, prompting the 21-year-old to leave the States and return home.
Since then she has launched a fundraiser on GoGetFunding to help her reintegrate into her old life, claiming she was "coerced" into going to America.
"Over the last few weeks, I was coerced into going to the USA, in return isolating me from everything around me. Whilst over there, went through a tough time which in turn resulted in me being even more isolated and distrusting of others," she wrote on the fundraising page.
"Now I’m at home in Poland and trying to return to a somewhat normal life with my boyfriend and my lovely cat Monte," she added. "I need to get back on my feet."
Julia added she would need the support of "lawyers and professionals" to recuperate from the events of the last several weeks.
But despite the widespread controversy over her case, the Polish woman already has raised €787 (£696) from nearly two dozen donors just days after she created the fundraiser.
"Wish you all the best in having a normal good life. If you just manage this, you would already reverse all the bad in the world," one of the donors commented.
Julia discovered she wasn't the missing British child, who disappeared during a 2007 family holiday to Portugal, earlier this month.
"She is absolutely 100% from Poland," Julia's private investigator and self-proclaimed psychic, Dr Fia Johansson, told RadarOnline.com.
"She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian but the test results show she is Polish."
Dr Fia Johansson paired up with Julia in her fight for answers
And after a whirlwind partnership between Julia and Dr Johansson, which saw the young Polish woman fly out to stay with Dr Johansson in the US and the pair appear on American talk show Dr Phil together, it seems they have fallen out in the wake of the DNA results.
Julia claimed the psychic was "trying to scare her" and wonders if the investigator had actually wanted to help her find out if she was actually missing Madeleine.
Meanwhile Dr Johansson said she "always knew" Julia wasn't Madeleine, despite her previous protestations the young woman "wasn't lying".
The celebrity psychic told the Mirror: "The case was always a very sensitive case.
"I have always believed Madeleine is alive, but when I flew out to Poland, I knew Julia wasn't Madeleine.
"I knew all of the disorders Julia had. She was immature and couldn't recognise who she was. She needed to get closure."
Meanwhile Julia's mother, Dorota Wandelt-Cholewinski, is apparently "beside herself" in the wake of the allegations and accused Dr Johansson of "exploiting" her.
A family friend told MailOnline: "Julia is a very disturbed young woman. Her mother Dorota is just beside herself, she can't believe how this has snowballed, Julia is very sick and Dorata just wants her to get the help she needs.
“It was clear from the beginning that Julia was not Madeleine and Dorota is furious that this so-called doctor exploited the illness of a very young woman."

Yes of course, there will always be that innocent explanation for anything and everything that may or may not be found - by the police..
Allegedly ....
Wendell’s former confidante (Fia Johansson) also revealed the Polish woman does not have leukaemia, but instead suffers from Cushing’s Syndrome, a pituitary disorder.

So you get a DNA test to confirm your parentage and before you get the results they tell you that you have Leukemia. That news is spread all over the gutter press only to later find that they got it wrong.
A likely story. What on earth was the purpose of that?

I'm not convinced about those tests that tell you what country you come from and what mix you are, are any good.
I think it's a money making gimmick.
And if Fia thought Julia never was Madeleine, why would she even pay for such a test.

Me neither, a money spinner to be sure!
Just suppose Mr and Mrs Botswana are holidaying in Alaska when Mrs Botswana gives birth prematurely. Or Mrs Botswana has a dalliance with the handsome Russian waiter, thus another child on the way
Get out of that one Shylock!
It's all a load of rollox.
Take mankind back to grass roots, we are all born of mixed race. Me? I'm a feathered fish.

Did Fia really pay for any test? Or was this just a publicity stunt for facial recognition and the crazy DNA tests that determine where someone has come from? I agree, its just a money making gimmick. To start with, people have moving and forming relationships with people from other areas for far too long. Could they really tell where someone had come from just by using DNA testing? I think not.
As for this facial recognition, it does work on some phones and cameras but why how accurate was this in determining if she was Madeleine.
As for charlatan Fia, if she was any good she would know how and when Madeleine died but she is clueless.

someone on tiktok, a sean something i already have forgotten was able to take copies of the 23 and me results of a julia wand, because the fia had given the password in one of her lives.
so the test must be done, others found the pictures of the julia spitting in the testtube, and a box from tadadada, the 23 and me, by wonder the number on the testtube was the same as on the later doing the rounds of paperwork.
i really do hope the so called lives with the sheena are over soon, the sheena has already a have punishment, that of being bored to dead by now. the julia has learned from the fia, that long talking is a good thing.
and i was so lucky to look first at you tube if someone had taken it up there, i must say the subtitles are pretty well done by you tube. it is torture to listen almost a full hour to the julia.
but i am mostly in for the comments on facebook, there are marvels in them, did ypou know you can change your dna after brain surgery, even if you did not have had that done, like the julia.
or when someone gets a screenshot out from the julia her pills, and the , what was it 30, 34, 35 or 37 pills have been in reality 5 to 6 in the evening and only a single one in the morning.
or when a person who actually had some hard years of study done, and was able to tell that the results on paper never talked about not being able to walk, but a nerve thingy in the upper body.
but the julia, who is really stepped up into being a believer, believes now her mother must have wanting to kill her with all those pills. some moments with the declaration because these are not pills for children at all.
well she thinks herself an intelligent person, so she can probably look a tiny bit into the mayor reason that there is actually hardly medication that will be tested on children. all because most parts of the world just find it not ethical to test medication on children, so most used is usable because of so called field experiences.
the julia thinks she can say what she wants, even firm accusations, because she use the words i believe.
well i believe is mostly used meaning pretty sturdy, only the julia and her fans, yes they are back, believe the julia still could be a madeleine mccann. or another missing child.
we already had heard it was not the julia's first i believe i am or i could be round in the listings of missing children, a translation from a polish agency has told the julia already had experience with believing she could be a polish missing girl, kasia matiya, missing from late december 1986 and was not even a year old. but also another brittish girl did not escape the julia her believes, that of katrice lee, the young girl that got missing in germany in 1987, both many years well before the julia was born and could have been born.
i can not find anything about the polish baby kasia, so the julia is a habitual offender and quite experienced by believing being others. and does not mind at all , how the families of these girls have to deal with the julia her believes. and her fans do not mind also.
it is quite fascinating to see how the fans of the julia or the people she hooks on to, are trying to get their believe in the julia into words. it is becoming a religion on its own.
at least i have already made two summer jackets, a blanket and repaired my full basket of clothes that were in need af new zippers and many buttons. so much easier if they load it up on youtube, easier to pause when needed.

A 21yo Polish woman is claiming to be Madeleine McCann. She isn't the first person to do so.

Content warning: This post mentions abuse and may be distressing for some readers.
It's been 15 years since the world learnt Madeleine McCann's name.
The three-year-old vanished from her bed while on holiday with her family in Portugal on May 3, 2007.
At the time, the British toddler was sleeping in her family's holiday apartment in Portugal with her twin siblings, while her parents dined at a tapas restaurant with friends in the same apartment complex.
Now, after years of theories and a formal suspect, a Polish woman has come forward claiming to be Madeleine, who would be 19 years old today.
"I think I can be Madeleine," 21-year-old Julia Faustyna, who also goes by the name Julia Wandelt, wrote in a Facebook post last week.
"I have a defect in my eye, in the same eye, the kind of defect Madeleine had. Except that in my case it’s faded more and more every year."
In the post, Julia claimed she is a "victim of a German pedophile", who she does not know the identity of, and suffers from post-traumatic amnesia.
"I don't remember my childhood practically at all, but I do have a few memories," she wrote.
"The earliest of these are vacations... but I completely don't recall my mother being there, for example, or my stepfather, much less my dad."
She also said her family rarely discussed her childhood abuse.
"During the therapy I started to analyse a lot, reflect and ask a lot of uncomfortable questions to my family, until at one point my mother couldn’t stand the barrage of questions and cut me off from therapy beginning in 2021."
Julia has also launched an Instagram page, iammadeleinemccan, where she has pointed out the physical similarities between herself and Madeleine, including a dimple on their cheeks.

Julia has also launched an Instagram page, iammadeleinemccan, where she has pointed out the physical similarities between herself and Madeleine, including a dimple on their cheeks.
As well as the similarities in appearance, Julia said she recognises a facial composite image of a man from the Find Madeleine website.
"I recognise this person.. it looks very similar to my abbuser [sic]," she wrote on Instagram.
According to 7News, Julia claimed Madeleine's parents have agreed to do a DNA test in a post on Instagram.
So far, London's Metropolitan Police nor the Find Madeleine campaign have issued a statement on Julia's claims.
The other women who have posted about being Madeleine McCann.
Julia isn't the first person who has gone viral for comparing herself to the missing British toddler.
Back in 2020, a trend emerged on TikTok where women shared their similarities with Madeleine's life and appearance.
In one video, a TikTok user named Emily shared a side-by-side comparison of herself and Madeleine, who is the same age as her.
She also explained her family has an apartment in Praia da Luz, where Madeleine was last seen, and has been visiting it for as long as she can remember.
"When I was younger my parents were stopped in an airport and were questioned about me and had to prove I wasn't Madeleine," she wrote in the video, which features the hashtags #madeleinemccann #helpme
A TikTok user named Emma also shared a video, asking her followers if she looked like the three-year-old when she was a kid.
Years earlier, a UK student named Harriet went viral in 2017 when she shared her similarities to Madeline in a group chat, which was later posted on Twitter by her best friend.
Speaking to British publication, The King's Tab, at the time, Harriet said she initially thought "it was funny" she and Madeleine looked alike, but her friends were "genuinely convinced".
"The facial features look very similar and the hair, and I Googled distinguishing features and the main two I have... Brown spot on her eye and brown spot on her leg," she told the publication.
Have Madeleine McCann's parents responded?
So far, Madeleine's parents are yet to comment on the claims.
The pair released a statement last year after a man was formally identified as a suspect.
The man was not charged with any crime related to Madeleine's disappearance.
"We welcome the news that the Portuguese authorities have declared a German man an 'arguido' in relation to the disappearance of our beloved daughter Madeleine," they wrote, as per the ABC.
"This reflects progress in the investigation, being conducted by the Portuguese, German and British authorities."
"Even though the possibility may be slim, we have not given up hope that Madeleine is still alive and we will be reunited with her."
The pair also released a statement on the 15-year anniversary of their daughter's disappearance in May last year.
"This year we mark fifteen years since we last saw Madeleine. It feels no harder than any other but no easier either. It’s a very long time," they wrote in a statement on the Find Madeleine website.
"Many people talk about the need for ‘closure’. It’s always felt a strange term. Regardless of outcome, Madeleine will always be our daughter and a truly horrific crime has been committed. These things will remain."
The McCanns went on to thank police, as well as their supporters for their "continued good wishes".
"We are grateful for the ongoing work and commitment of the UK, Portuguese and German authorities as it is this combined police effort which will yield results and bring us those answers."

Re: Here we go again, a girl’s going viral on TikTok because she thinks she’s Madeleine McCann
What’s the most important story re:Madeleine in recent times?
Christian B’s friend informing a British newspaper that he’d been re interviewed by the police and that he believed they were struggling for any evidence to charge Christian B with.
Funnily enough, the Polish girl with obvious mental health issues then becomes a central story and focal point in the media.
Why?
This non story is total misdirection and keeps the public’s awareness away from the fact Maddie was never abducted.
The way the media works they’d have known all about the Polish lassie and put their stories out when told to, to use and abuse and deflect any attention.
Christian B’s friend informing a British newspaper that he’d been re interviewed by the police and that he believed they were struggling for any evidence to charge Christian B with.
Funnily enough, the Polish girl with obvious mental health issues then becomes a central story and focal point in the media.

Re: Here we go again, a girl’s going viral on TikTok because she thinks she’s Madeleine McCann
I think it's more likely a good marketing ploy on behalf of the gutter press - the name Madeleine McCann has always been a money spinner, the press and media will never let this drop until there is nothing left to squeeze.
The German story is just that - a story. Okay, so any routine police investigation will listen to every angle presented whilst collating evidence and intelligence but they have the requisite knowledge and experience to differentiate between fact and fiction. A known felon with tales to tell, for whatever reason, a reliable witness will never be.
The Polish female no different. Another flash in the pan that hits the tabloid headlines hard and then finds it's way to garbage when it's exhausted it's purpose. Google Julia Faustyna/Wandelt/Wendall and the first thing you will see is Madeleine McCann's face.
The more sensible knew from the start that this Polish female was not/is not/will never be Madeleine McCann.
Sixteen years have now gone, the McCanns keep a very low profile, their group of holiday friends/acquaintances have left the stage, the investigation is over - in reality it was over in September/October 2007 when Snr Amaral was removed from the case, the McCanns left Portugal under a heavy cloud of suspicion, back in the UK they were in a safe place to launch their defence attack - the rest as they say is history.
I've always thought the case of Madeleine McCann concluded on or around the 10th anniversary, since then there has been nothing positive, or even believable, to maintain impetus.
Kate McCann is lost in the mire of charitable work whilst Gerry McCann continues to grow his successful career in cardiology, they have got away with it - whatever 'it' might be. There is no interest anymore.
One thing that strikes me is the frequent reference to Kate and/or Gerry - like they are household names, or old buddies. Not primary suspects in the case of their own missing daughter .... MADELEINE! And no, they were not exonerated when the Portuguese investigation was shelved back in the summer of 2008, they were and still are the prime suspects until such times as evidence is presented to prove otherwise.
Deluded females and/or German prisoners are not proven evidence.
I predict the forthcoming anniversary will be a total non-event, no doubt a quiet service at the Rothley place of worship and one or two faithful tabloid reporters reiterating the same old time worn heart wrenching twaddle.
The epilogue is done and dusted - I wonder if Kate McCann will write a sequel 'kate by MADELEINE MCCANN' ....

Fake Madeleine McCann to do another DNA test despite the first rubbishing her theory
Julia Wendell's claims were disproved after a DNA test confirmed that her ancestry is Polish, but despite this, the 21-year-old says she is going to do another test

The young Polish woman who claimed she was Madeleine McCann has said she will do another DNA test, despite the first one rubbishing her claims.
Julia Wendell's claims were disproved after a DNA test confirmed that her ancestry is Polish, and she couldn’t be the Leicestershire youngster that went missing in May 2007.
Julia, also known as Julia Faustyna and Wandelt, took to Instagram today (April 16) to reveal she will do another DNA test.
"I want to do this because I just want to do this and I don't even have to explain why but I think everyone knows why I want to do this. When the results come I will let you know everything," she said.
She added that she has the support of "official people and law enforcement".
After scrapping her original Instagram account, which was named iammadeleinemccan, Julia made a new account called "Am I Julia Wendalt”.
In recent posts, she insisted: "I have to say I never said I am Madeleine. I always said that I believe I could be Madeleine."
Since returning to her home country, Julia has said that Dr Fia Johansson - her unofficial minder during the early days of her claims - was "trying to scare" her and added that she’s no longer sure whether the “medium” ever wanted to help at all.
"When I first met Fia for the first time I thought she wanted to help me,” she said. "Now I know she wants only new followers, new clients."
In her latest video today, she added that she thought Dr Johansson started to make false allegations about her because she is angry that Julia returned to Poland, jeopardising chances to work with production companies with Julia's story.
The self-professed psychic said that Julia is probably shook by the reality that she is not Madeleine.
"Although Julia is disappointed about this revelation and the spotlight may fade away, the truth as represented in the results speaks to perhaps an unwelcome new reality," she explained.
