"It's still hard to live with, but you learn to live with it" – Denise Fergus

As two teenagers admit to kidnapping a toddler from a Primark store in Newcastle, we speak to Denise Fergus, the mother of James Bulger - kidnapped and murdered twenty-three years ago.

Two-year-old James was abducted whilst out shopping with Denise, by two ten-year-old boys, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables. He was then brutally tortured and murdered.

Denise tells us how the recent abduction has bought back chilling memories for her, and how she is still grieving for her own son.

The James Bulger Memorial Trust was launched in 2011 - a charity which provides free holidays for children who have suffered a bereavement, youngsters who are crime victims or who have done good for others.

Janet Street-Porter "Have you managed to speak to the McCanns about how they feel?"

Denise: "No I haven't. If they wanted to speak to me then I'm more than willing to speak to them but I feel I don't want to intrude"

Very good diplomatic answer from Denise Fergus, said presumably after putting down the very large barge pole she wouldn't touch the Mcs with  big grin

FACT: James Bulger WAS 'abducted and, sadly, killed'

FACT: James Bulger's mother CO-OPERATED, 100% with the police 'investigation'.

FACT: Madeleine McCann 'mysteriously disappeared' from her parents, diliberately and consciously, willingly and knowingly, left unlocked holiday apartment.

FACT: Only, ONLY Madeleine's parents, K&GM, claim 'Madeleine WAS abducted'

FACT: Madeleine McCann's mother REFUSED to co-operate, 100% with the police investigation, and has stated, publicly, that, whether 'the case (into HER daughter's disappearance) is re-opened (after being 'archived') or NOT, it DOSEN'T matter', to her.

FACT: KM has stated, in print, (exhibit KM1) that they (K&GM) 'were GLAD the investigation (into their daughter's 'disappearance') was CLOSED'

I doubt Denise Fergus would have been 'GLAD' if the UK police had 'closed' their 'investigation', and 'it didn't matter' to her, before establishing the full 'facts' about her son's 'abduction and killing', do you?

DF hasn't 'met the McCanns' because, imo, the McCann's are 'steering well clear' of her and 'the/a REAL abduction' (proven) of her child.

(and any 'awkward' questions DF 'might ask' of 'them')

You have hit the nail on the head, Jeanmonroe.   I don't know about you, but I find the fact that all these red flags appear to be being ignored SICKMAKING.

And even  more sickmaking that they know the red flags are known about by so many.
